M.Sc. (Economics) and general secretary of Cine-Regio (European Association of Regional Film Funds). She has previously worked as international executive with Merlin Films (Ireland); advisor/coordinator for MEDIA Desk Denmark and festival manager for the Danish Film Institute and at two Danish production companies. Author of “The Fine Art of Coproducing” (2002 & 2007) and “Digital Games – A Danish Perspective” (2003). Member of the European Audiovisual Observatory’s advisory committee and board member of Cineuropa.org.

José Manuel Sande (Galicia)
Programmer for CGAI and the Galician Film Library. Film historian and writer, member of the Spanish Association of Film Historians (AEHC). He contributes to publications such as Xornal de Galicia, Tempos Novos, Cahiers du Cinéma Spain or Secuencias, and many specialized monographs. Researcher and narrator in the film “50 Years in the Scaffold” (2009) by Ángel Rueda, he was also the screenwriter and producer of the film “Arraianos” (2010) by Eloy Enciso. He was a member of the jury in events such as Filminho or Play-Doc.

Montse Besada Vergara (Galicia)
Since 2009 she is Head of External Production for Galician Television (TVG), in which she began in 1987 as producer and head of sales in international markets, being the executive producer of the Xabarín Club programme and the new digital channel G2. Graduate from MEDIA Programme’s EAVE, from BBC’s course on Direction and Production and CNN's Professional Programme. Founding member of the Galician Audiovisual Academy.

Antonio Carballo Sánchez (Spain)
Director and editor of the magazines Cineinforme and Teleinforme, and of the fair Expocine. Founder of the fair Tele Expo and the internet portal Cine & Tele Online. Founding member of the Spanish Film Academy, the Academy of Television and the CEC (Cinema Writers Circle.) Coordinator of AITE (Association of Spanish Audiovisual Technical Industries.) Secretary General of AIBEX (Latin American Association of Film Exhibitors). He is the author of the project Ibercinemas (Latin American Network of Digital Cinema.)

Pepe Coira (Galicia)
Producer and screenwriter, vicechairman of the Galician Audiovisual Academy. Director of CGAI (Galician Center of Audiovisual Arts) from 1990 to 1997. Professor at the School of Image and Sound of A Coruña from 1997 to 2000. He was Head of Development and Vicechairman at Voz Audiovisual from 2001 to 2006, and Head of Development at Filmax Galicia from 2006 to 2009. He is currently a freelance professional.

Manuel Costa e Silva (Portugal)
He is a film director and screenwriter. His filmography includes “The Return of The Man Who Didn't Like To Go Out” (1996), “The First Time” (2000), “Time Regained” (2002), “Panóias” (2005) and “1111” (2006). Graduate in Communication and Multimedia from the Instituto Politécnico in Santarém and in Film and Video from ESAP. He is currently academic director at the Arts School of Porto (ESAP) and director of the International Film Schools Festival in Porto.

Simone Saibene (Italy)
Critic, director and screenwriter. BA in Communications from IULM University in Milan. Since 2003 he works as a critic for Duellanti magazine and other media. He has written, directed and edited “Patmos (Apocalypsi)”, “Il furto della zucca” and “Regreso a San Andrés”. He spent four years as head of programming and manager of the film society and publications editor at the Cultural Foundation San Fedele in Milan. Teacher and coordinator of cinema courses, he has collaborated with the Cervantes Institute in Milan and the CGAI.

Antonio Costa Valente (Portugal)
Filmmaker, producer and professor at the Department of Communication and Art from University of Aveiro, lecturing on cinema. He wrote the book “Cinema Sem Actores” (2001). He co-founded the Avanca Cineclub, and from there he produced over 50 films. He took administrative responsibilities in Cartoon Portugal, in the administrative board of European Cartoon, in the FPCA (Portuguese Federation of Cinema and Audiovisuals) and is the Portuguese coordinator of INPUT (International Public Television Conference). Since 1997 he is the director of AVANCA International Meeting.

Xosé Luis Martinez Carneiro (Galicia)
He studied Journalism in the School of Information Sciences in Madrid. He graduated from the course Film in the Cities of the University of Minnesota, and from the EU’s EAVE Programme. He studied 2D Animation at the School of Image and Sound in A Coruña, and made a Masters on 2D Animation at EU's Leader Programme. Screenwriter, director and producer in the fields of documentary, advertising and feature films. At present, he directs and produces the International Online Animation Festival (www.animacam.tv).

Belén Montero (Galicia)
BA in Art History from the Universitat Autònoma in Barcelona. Since 1998 she is co-founder, creative and partner of audiovisual and multimedia company Esferobite from A Coruña, in which she co-directs and produces with Juan Lesta (his partner in the project DSK). She has directed many music videos and produced videocreation pieces. She currently teaches courses on image at BAU and Elisava schools (Barcelona).

Jaime Arregui (Galicia)
BA in European Bussiness Sudies from Middlesex Business School (London) and from ICADE (Madrid). In 1977 he co-founded Interacción, the most award-winning interactive agency in Galicia. As Interacción's Commercial Director, he has developed and managed projects for Spanish and international leading brands. He is often a lecturer at professional forums and takes an active role in many sector associations. He participated in an evaluation panel on multimedia projects for the European Commission.

Verónica Costa Orvalho (Portugal)
Ph.D. in Software Development (Computer Graphics) from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. She is the mother of a lovely boy and a full-time professor at University of Porto, head of the Porto Interactive Center and CTO of Face in Motion. She has been working in IT companies (IBM, Ericsson) and has collaborated with several film and videogame companies (Patagonik Film, Blur Studios, Electronic Arts, Microsoft Portugal, Dygra Films) and research groups (Stanford, Politècnica de Catalunya).

Beatriz Legerén (Galicia)
Director of Interacción y Pixel Grafics. BA in Geography and History from University of Santiago de Compostela. Master in Business Administration from Caixanova Business School. A graduate of EAVE Europe and EAVE Multimedia. Lecturer and researcher in the Faculty of Communication and Social Sciences at University of Vigo. Chairwoman of Cluster TIC Galicia and EGANET, and member of the strategic committee at the Galician Audiovisual Cluster.

Nuno Filipe Cubal (Portugal)
BS in Computer Science from University of Porto. He became a film critic in 2000, writing for magazines Estreia and Cinema Novo. Since 2003 he has one of the most popular film websites: Antestreia. He belongs to the film selection committee of Fantasporto, being also in charge of the catalogue and the press conferences at this film festival. As a journalist, he has reported from several Portuguese film festivals and international festivals such as Cannes and Sitges. He has written screenplays for short films.

Since 1978 he directs the Casa da Xuventude of Ourense. He promotes and coordinates numerous activities, including Outono Fotográfico Photo Festival, the Xornadas de Banda Deseñada Comics Festival, the Biennial of Caricature and Ourense Short Story Award. He participates in many cultural associations, preferably in Ourense, where he was a founding member of the Ourense Photographic Association and the Alexandre Bóveda Culture Club. He is a member of the publishing house Difusora de Letras, Artes e Ideas, of Landrover collective, of Enredarte and the Guild of Book 'Literauria'.
