* Rubén Ochandiano introduces the film

I think it’s no exaggeration to say that Stand by Me has been, for those of us in our thirties, one of those films that marked us for life. We all saw at some point in our childhood the adventures of these four boys; we looked to their initiatory journey, while we started ours, with a strange sense of danger and secrecy. It was as if, once you had watched the film, you became a member of that club. Seen now, with the eyes of a grown man, it can be naive and harmless as almost all films from the 80s, but it will still clutch to your heart. And it has a few wonderful scenes which have aged well because they talk about the basics of the human soul. For all this it has become a classic that must be rewatched (and enjoyed).
