This film tells the story of Sergio, a bourgeois who decides to stay in Cuba while his whole family leaves the country after the triumph of the Revolution. Sergio will seek a meaning to his life by writing his memoirs, as the Revolution becomes a challenge: he will try to understand it and find a coherence within his system of values.
